Fire safety is critical for all organisations but particularly so for museums where a fire could destroy part of our national heritage. All NHM staff require a clear understanding of fire safety and emergency procedures. The problem was how to deliver it consistently and offer ongoing refresher training.

E-learning provided the answer - all staff are now trained in fire safety within 3 weeks of starting. NHM also plan to re-brand the programme using Epic's 'Refresh' tool and make it available to other museums.
