REME engineers are highly trained experts responsible for maintenance, modification and repair of a wide range of equipment. Safety is of paramount importance and delivering this message to new recruits, many of whom are recent school leavers, was proving problematic, not least due to differing literacy levels.

The visual approach engages those with low literacy and role filters deliver content appropriate to individual roles.
