Our history
Epic has been delivering high quality e-learning for almost 20
years and has the largest dedicated team of professionals in the
UK.
Founded in Brighton in the 1980's, Epic has been using computers
in the application of learning since the days of the introduction
of the PC to the mainstream work environment. Epic has rapidly evolved
as the audio and graphic capability of desktop computers increased
dramatically. The development of the internet and related technologies
led to further improvements to our delivery capabilities. This history,
together with a thorough understanding of the psychology of learning,
means that Epic has a very clear view on how e-learning will help
your organisation.
From 1996 to 2005, Epic was listed on the London Stock Exchange
and had a blue chip investor base including Artemis, Deutsche Bank,
Liontrust and Scottish Widows. Our published statements as a listed
company appear on the results
page.
In 2005, Huveaux Plc acquired
Epic. Huveaux are a fast-growing AIM listed media company with interests
in learning, training and political publishing both in Europe and
the UK.
