'Broadly speaking, I perform two roles. Firstly, I'm here
to help other people do their jobs as well as possible.
This happens in a consultative way really, as a response
to the issues that come up during the life of a project.
'The second strand of my job is as a Project Manager.
Our programs are created organically, with people's individuality
and personal style given space to breathe. Though there
has to be a balance between consistency and individuality,
I'm keen to encourage a collaborative working process that
creates programs with a bit of personality.
'I've been at Epic for more than 10 years, and It's always
been a very open company. There are no closed doors, and
the company has never shirked a challenge. In the early
days, we found something we could do successfully, but we
didn't just plough on with it ad nauseam - we took on things
that were new to us. It's been like that since day one.
'Working here is still a challenge. For me, it has to be
- I'd get bored if I wasn't asked new questions every day!'
