'I oversee the well-being of all the networks and servers
at Epic, as well as fixing things and anticipating potential
problems. I'm also involved in re-investment and implementing
new equipment.
'After finishing an HND in Software Engineering, I became
a programmer, and from there moved on to a PC support role.
I've had the opportunity to improve my knowledge and experience
of networks and servers while at Epic, and the things I've
done here will be invaluable in the future.
'I'm also a line manager for three people in the systems
department, which I initially thought wouldn't be my bag
- I've always stuck firmly to the "techie stuff." But, actually,
I've found that it's quite a fulfilling thing to be doing.'
