Job roles
Job roles within Epic are flexible and tailored to meet the requirements
of individual employees and the projects they are currently working
on.
There are a number of key areas that most of our job roles fit
into, which are briefly described below. For more detail about specific
roles please select from the list on the left.
Design
Design and conceptualisation of a programme from the interface layout
to the structure of the entire program.
Programming
Advising on the feasibility of interactive designs and the production
of code that meets Epic's standards and client specification.
Graphical Design
Creating high quality visual digital media as specified by the interactive
design.
Administration
Providing a range of support from day to day assistance through
to in-depth project management.
Sales & Marketing
Generating opportunities for Epic in the marketplace; and developing
ongoing relationships and partnerships with clients.
Systems
Responsible for maintaining the effectiveness of the company's electronic
communication and data networks and all associated hardware and
software.
Testing
Defining and carrying out a structured validation process to ensure
that
each of Epic's completed products meets it's requirements as defined
in the interactive design.
Others...
There are a few roles that don't fit easily into these areas and
that is generally because they require a very broad spectrum of
skills. Project managers, for example, have overall responsibility
for any project to which they are assigned and therefore need to
have a strong understanding of all aspects of the project as well
as excellent managerial and customer liaison skills.
