Project Leader
Due to record achievement and an ever growing order book, Epic
- Brighton's most significant employer of e-learning and web development
professionals is looking for the right individuals to join our high
performing and motivated team.
You
We’re looking for a hands-on leader and manager of one of
our e-learning teams, a typical one of which consists of 10 people
comprising project support officers and instructional designers.
You’ll have proven strategic planning capability, and extensive
experience in all aspects of delivering software projects successfully.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to lead, manage,
and coach a project team on e-learning projects. You will also be
part of the production management team, requiring a strong sense
of business acumen, adaptability and the ability to drive and implement
new ideas.
Naturally we’d expect you to have excellent communication
skills, and be able to establish strong working relationships with
clients.
The role
You will:
- oversee projects from initial specifications through to completion
ensuring they are achievable within budgets and time scales, and
are successfully implemented
- develop a deep understanding of key account clients, ensuring
learning and lessons are gained across projects, and ensuring
client quality expectations are met
- ensure that risks for all projects are identified and actions
put in place to minimise or mitigate them
- ensure effective communication within the project team, across
other project teams, and where appropriate across divisions
- be an effective member of the production management team, presenting
and implement improvements to process, design, and any other areas
- support sales on proposals and pitches
- raise the capability in your team by providing effective line
management, and by mentoring and coaching
- manage multiple priorities, projects and relationships
- keep up-to-date with current trends and online based delivery
platforms, formats & technologies
