Epic continues to strengthen position
- 1.5M+ new business in education market
- All sectors showing good growth
- On target to meet market expectations
- Decision to declare maiden dividend confirmed
Epic, the UK's leading e-learning company, continues to strengthen
its position in the education market with recent wins from National
Learning Network, NHSU (National Health Service University), Ufi
learndirect, Sheffield Hallam University and e-skills amounting
to a total in excess of £1.5 million.
The importance to Epic of the Education sector, which is an area
of increasing government spend, was signalled at the time of its
end-of-year report in July. These wins demonstrate the success of
Epic's efforts in targeting this area, through sales and marketing
activity including its 'thought leadership' programme.
Other education clients that Epic has worked for this year include
Cambridge University and Dundee University.
Donald Clark, the Chief Executive of Epic, commented: 'We are showing
good growth in all sectors of the business and we are on target
to meet market expectations when we issue our interim results on
Monday 3 February 2003. Based on the results to date, I can confirm
that the Directors will be declaring a maiden dividend at the time
we issue the results.'
