Steve Rayson joins Epic board
Epic, the UK's leading e-learning company, today
announces the appointment of Steve Rayson, aged 40, to its Board
of Directors. He is currently Sales & Marketing Director, and was
initially brought into Epic to head up its e-government team. Prior
to joining Epic, Steve was Director of Resources at Brighton & Hove
Council and a consultant at KPMG Management Consulting.
This appointment reflects the growing importance of
Government work to Epic, as a result of major project wins, such
as the development of the websites for UK Parliament, the Welsh
Development Agency and HERO. Epic has also been awarded e-learning
contracts, including the highly successful Prime Strategic Leadership
e-learning programme, from the Cabinet Office, and other contracts
from the Department for Work and Pensions, the Audit Commission,
HM Customs and Excise, the Inland Revenue and UK e-universities
Worldwide.
Michael Inwards, Chairman of Epic, said: 'Since joining
Epic, Steve has made a valuable contribution to our work in the
public sector, and his appointment to the Board reflects the continuing
growth in this sector of our business.'
