Epic expands Business Development team
Epic, the UK's leading e-learning company, today announces the
appointments of Henrietta Palmer and Therese Coyne
as Business Development Directors, further strengthening the company's
sales force and regional coverage. The move reflects Epic's confidence
in its current trading position, following the release of a highly
positive set of annual results.
Henrietta joins the e-government team, based at Epic's Brighton
office. Therese has been brought in to work with private sector
clients across the Midlands and the North, and is based in
Cambridgeshire. Henrietta Palmer joins Epic from KnowledgePool,
having been a business development manager in the new media
industry for four years. During this time she has used her
strong organisational and project management skills to ensure
her clients achieve their learning objectives. Her previous
clients have been in both the public and private sector, and
include DfES, UfI, Lloyds TSB and British Airways.
Prior to joining Epic, Therese Coyne was an account manager
at Pathlore. She has sold at senior management and director
level for over 15 years, most recently selling Learning Management
Solutions to global organisations in the UK and Europe, including
Yell, British Telecom, Intellixis, GlaxoSmithKline & Vodafone.
Therese has also sold Knowledge Management solutions to organisations
including CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), ICRF (International
Cancer Research Fund) and PowerGen.
Donald Clark, Epic, said, 'Epic has a widening client base,
from the south-east of England to Scotland. With rising levels of
business, we have strengthened our sales team, giving us a geographic
spread. We had already broadened our coverage by appointing someone
in Bristol and Scotland, and these two new appointments give us
further breadth and depth.'
