Shares Magazine: Gold stars for e-learning company Epic

by Polly Fergusson

E-learning company Epic (EPI) reported strong results for the year far ahead of market expectations. The company also paid out its first dividend to shareholders at 1.7p.

Revenues for the year to May were up to £8.7 million from £7.2 million last year, with pre-tax profits up over 100% to £1.8 million and earnings per share (EPS) at 4.9p.

'Epic now has a blue chip client base, a high level of repeat business, growing turnover and profits and a strong balance sheet,' say analysts at Evolution Beeson Gregory, who rate the stock a buy.
