Epic CEO in debate with BBC's James Naughtie

Is e-learning a weapon of mass distraction?

Epic CEO, Donald Clark, is taking part in a debate with fellow scot James Naughtie, presenter of BBC Radio 4's Today programme. The Great E-bate, which takes place at HRD 2004 conference held by the CIPD, looks at the state of the e-learning industry.

Donald claims that the internet is now the largest learning resource on the planet: 'It is getting bigger, better, faster and cheaper. Every schoolchild, student, researcher and academic in the land is now an e-learner. Beyond this millions have now taken part in Open University, Ufi and other e-learning courses. It is truly irreversible.'

Others will no doubt take a more sceptical line!

Thursday 3.30 on 22 April at HRD 2004 Olympia, London.
