Learning that's catching up with business
Building
on the success of over 20 different e-learning projects already developed
with Flash Create since its launch in October, the next phase of exciting
enhancements for Epic’s in-house development environment is
gathering momentum.
Paul Welch, the Senior Designer tasked with ensuring that Flash
Create continues to adapt and expand its offering, is excited by
the scope for continual development: ‘Flash Create was always
designed to be a distillation of best practice in instructional,
visual and code design. If it’s to fulfil its potential, we
obviously can’t afford to let it stagnate’. Paul jokes
‘Clearly, this makes life harder for us, because we have to
constantly check whether Flash Create is doing enough and if not,
push it further’.
To summarise how Flash Create is moving forward, Paul notes, ‘The
way we’ve set things up from the outset means that constant
improvement is part of the process. At any one point, we have at
least two new enhancements in production and a whole raft of others
either in the pipeline or being evaluated for feasibility. Thankfully,
we have an amazing Flash team behind the development work and all
of Epic’s designers provide their advice and support along
the way’. If you want to learn more about what Flash Create
