Flash Create Launch

October saw the launch of Flash Create at Epic, when nearly a hundred members of the e-learning division gathered together to hear Keith Landsborough toast the new in-house tool and methodology, created to enable us to produce more visually exciting, robust and accessible designs. Keith was keen to stress that literally everyone in the division has played a role in bringing Flash Create to the table.

Flash Create represents best practice in learning, programming and graphical design, and everyone at Epic has contributed to the project over recent years with refinements and innovations across many projects making it into the final code base.

The fact that Flash Create has been developed from the ground up, with input from experts in technical, instructional, and graphical design fields means that Epic’s solutions can offer significant flexibility to meet a wide range of requirements, from simple, quality e-learning to complex, media-rich learning models.

A recent visit by the Royal National Institute of the Blind (RNIB) highlighted Epic’s commitment to making e-learning available to as wide a user-base as possible. Flash Create’s accessibility features and benefits place Epic firmly at the forefront of this field at a time when DDA legislation demands positive action.

Many further enhancements are already planned for Flash Create, so that we can continue to anticipate the growing requirements in the marketplace.
