Epic offer access to Absence Management programme for one week to celebrate Learning at Work Day

National Learning at Work Day is an annual awareness campaign, promoting and supporting workplace learning events across England.

As part of this year’s initiative, which has the theme ‘Live Long & Prosper’, Epic are offering organisations the chance to access their Absence Management e-learning programme free for seven days. Absence Management is an engaging two-hour e-learning course, designed to help managers and employees implement absence management best practice. The programme, which is suitable for both private and public sector usage, helps managers and employees:

·         Reduce workplace absence

·         Work within their rights and responsibilities

·         Monitor absence efficiently

·         Act fairly and effectively during return-to-work interviews

·         Agree solutions for recurring absences

The Campaign for Learning started organising LAW Day in 1999 as part of Adult Learners' Week to draw attention to the importance of workplace learning and skills. Each year, thousands of organisations take part in LAW Day and stage fun and business-related learning activities to help their staff learn new skills that they can put into action at work.

Last year an estimated 5,600 organisations took part including large corporations, SMEs, public sector organisations and government departments. By getting involved in the biggest annual celebration of workplace learning companies can reach new staff, uncover new skills, build new partnerships and help reach business goals.
