Case study
Video Arts
Epic is developing a new range of online learning resources for
Video Arts. Twenty-five 90 minute training programs are being produced
for CD-ROM, network/intranet, and internet delivery. These interactive
programs, based on Video Arts' award winning video content , are
designed to provide a comprehensive and memorable learning experience
on core business skills.
Each of the learning modules are being produced in two versions;
a 'thick', media-rich version, and a 'thin' version that uses stills
and captions rather than video and audio for internet delivery.
The production process utilises cutting edge techniques for seamlessly
converting script templates into working modules.
Epic has developed a unique navigation tool, the Viewfinder, that
organises the learning content to allow users to select the exact
segments of information they need within a few clicks. As well as
providing flexibility within the course, the viewfinder also allows
each program to be used as an on-going performance support tool.
This project is yet another example of how Epic is working with
industry-leading partners at the forefront of the learning technology
field.
