Working for the other side...

Steve Mackenzie has recently been appointed as
Business Development Manager for bespoke e-learning at Epic. He
will focus initially on developing new business in the media and
local government sectors.
Steve has considerable experience and knowledge of the pressures
that clients face working on important e-learning projects which
he gained during his time as a client himself at B&Q plc. Steve
will be bringing these first-hand experiences and inside knowledge
to bear in his new role to help Epic customers make the right decisions.
At B&Q Steve was E-Learning Producer and he was responsible
for the commissioning, development and delivery of all new e-learning
for the 35,000 store-based staff. Steve has been asked to share
his experience of e-learning at a number of conferences including
E-Learning Network, Learning Technologies, eLearning Expo and at
the Institute of IT Training. He has also contributed to a series
of e-learning articles within the training press.
Outside work, Steve is a fully qualified wedding photographer and
Licensed NLP Practitioner. No doubt he uses his NLP skills to calm
his nervous wedding clients!
Naturally Steve would be delighted to discuss with clients any
requirement for e-learning. With his background as an E-Learning
Producer he can also provide plenty of help and guidance on any
aspect of the e-learning commissioning or production process. Steve
can be contacted on 07771 710375 or at stevema@epic.co.uk
(He has promised not to use his NLP skills to unfairly influence
the purchasing decisions of clients!)
