Epic wins top Stock Market award
PRESS RELEASE
Issued: January 25, 2001
Epic has won the Best AIM* Company Award. Epic's CEO, Donald
Clark picked up the award in a glittering ceremony at the
Grosvenor Hotel in London's West End.
Epic is a profitable e-learning company and has consistently
delivered growing revenue and profits to the market. It was
one of the top performing shares on the stock market last
year, seemingly immune from the turbulence in the market.
Their shareholder list now reads like a 'who's who' of city
institutions.
Epic's business is the use of web technology to define, design
and deliver e-learning to large organisations. It was the
first UK company to enter this market, has over 200 staff,
a strong client base and strong, profitable growth.
"Chief Executive Donald Clark presides over a company with
a strong order book, no debt, a sizeable war chest and a dominant
market position. Epic should continue to be a stock to watch
in the future" said Shares magazine, sponsors of the awards.
"Awards mean a lot to staff who have put their hearts and
souls into sustaining our growth last year. We have extraordinarily
high levels of repeat business, showing that what we deliver
is effective" commented Donald.
This is the third award in three months for Epic. Company
of the Year in November, Best E-learning Award in December
and Best AIM Company in January.
