Shares: Epic year-high bucks bear market

E-learning supplier Epic group was the only UK listed company that managed to reach a year-high in the last seven days.

The shares rose on the back of decent half-year results at the start of the month, showing a profit of just under £1 million and paying its maiden dividend.
