Epic and Adult Learners’ Week

May 5th 2009
As part of Adult Learners' Week, 9-15 May, award-winning e-learning company Epic is running a ‘share a skill' scheme to celebrate the wide-ranging talent that exists amongst its staff. Employees have been invited to propose an idea for a 45 minute session to share a useful skill with their colleagues, and the five most popular will occur daily in the workplace throughout the week.
In a company where the focus is on providing high-calibre learning solutions for all kinds of audiences, the ‘share a skill' scheme will act to remind Epic's staff what it feels like to be a beginner learner again. Epic often runs learning and development events, but is delighted to be engaging in these special events specifically in support of Adult Learners' Week.
Naomi Norman, Director of Learning says "We are continually striving for better, more engaging and more motivating ways to make a difference to the skills, knowledge and competences of individuals, and so make a difference to the organisational performance of our clients' businesses. The purpose of this is to stimulate our thinking, encourage new ideas, share knowledge, and ensure Epic stays at the very forefront of innovation in e-learning for adult learners."
