Epic has been selected by Buying Solutions under the Learning & Development and eLearning Solutions Framework for the Information Technology and Specialist Services lots. This EU compliant framework agreement enables public sector organisations to commission training and development without the need for further procurement exercises, thus substantially reducing the administrative burden on government and local authority buying teams.

The competition to achieve successful supplier status was intense. So to be selected alongside only a handful of other organisations in each of these lots is a major achievement. Epic's Commercial Director, Tracy Capaldi-Drewett, commented, "We are absolutely delighted to have been successfully selected for the Buying Solutions framework agreement. It allows us to continue our long standing partnerships with numerous public sector organisations. Our services were thoroughly benchmarked against a huge number of external suppliers, so it's a fantastic endorsement of the quality and breadth of our offering."

Under the Information Technology framework, Epic will produce bespoke systems training simulations for public sector IT roll outs, as well as associated support services such as blended solutions, floor walking, coaching, mentoring, secure content hosting and dedicated training support. As part of Specialist Services, Epic will provide expertise in blended learning strategy and practical design of blended solutions.

Tracy is positive about the impact the framework agreement will have: "This framework agreement has been thoroughly planned and has real commitment from Buying Solutions to deliver extensive benefits across government. They're backed up with a range of tools, online guidance and helpdesk support to make procurement easier, delivering major savings in time and cost. They're invaluable for any supplier fortunate enough to have been selected."
