Epic & British Airways shortlisted for E-Learning Award

We’re delighted to announce that Aviation Medicine, developed in partnership with British Airways, has been shortlisted for Excellence in the production of learning content – private sector at the 2010 E-Learning Awards.
Completed before new recruits attend their full face-to-face induction, the e-learning has proved highly effective at preparing staff for a shortened, focused classroom session.
The programme has helped reduce BA’s training costs dramatically and is highly popular amongst cabin crew recruits, who must pass a challenging assessment before gaining a CAA licence to fly.
Alec Keith, Epic’s Marketing Director, commented, “This is the latest in a long line of award nominations this year and further emphasises the quality of the content produced at Epic. We believe Aviation Medicine reflects our aim of developing groundbreaking and award-winning content and this nomination confirms it.”
We’ll find out if we’ve won at the prestigious awards ceremony on Thursday 11th November.
