Epic is delighted to announce that 'Operation Numerika' - a numeracy skills course delivered on Nintendo DS for new recruits into the British Army - has been nominated in the e-learning category at the 2010 IVCA awards.

These highly prestigious awards are recognised as the premier marks of excellence for effective business and public sector communications in video, interactive projects, business television and digital media.

Marco Forgione, IVCA's Chief Executive commented "The sheer number, diversity and quality of entries this year reinforce the view that the IVCA Awards are Europe's leading business communication awards. We would like to congratulate Epic and The British Army - their work has been judged to be inspirational and effective in delivering cultural shift, organisational change and delivering substantial financial and business results."

Epic's Marketing Director, Alec Keith said, "This is a fantastic testament to the creativity and technical excellence of Epic staff and the solutions we produce. An IVCA nomination is not given lightly. The process took over 3 weeks with input from over 120 judges, many of whom are thought leaders in the fields of creative and digital media."

The winners will be announced at the IVCA Awards ceremony attended by commissioners, government representatives, industry colleagues and the media on 26 March at The Grosvenor House Hotel.
