Now in its second year and attended by over 400 international delegates, Games Based Learning (GBL) 2010 will this year take place on 29-30 March at The Brewery in London. At this event the video game and creative industries meet the education sector in what promises to be an inspiring and provocative exchange.

Epic's Director of Learning and Head of Learning, Dr Naomi Norman and Imogen Casebourne, will speak about two programmes recently produced on the Nintendo DS for the Army, taking place on 29 March, entitled ‘Games for Military’. The session will explore the use of visual representations, language, motivation, engagement, usability and collaboration, concluding with a fascinating look to the future.

The breakout session will take place in the Lower Sugar Room between 14.30-15.45 and will be chaired by Kam Star, CEO, PlayGen,
