Following the phenomenal success of the inaugural E-Learning Debate at The Oxford Union in September, Epic is staging another debate at Learning Technologies, London Olympia, on Wednesday 27th January, 11.30-12.30 in Theatre 1.

The debate is entitled: Smart phones: smarter learning? Or new technology, same old pedagogy? Professors John Traxler and Mike Sharples, acknowledged experts in mobile learning, will lead the arguments for and against, accompanied by Kim Whittlestone of the Royal Veterinary College and Dr Mike Short of O2.

This is an ideal opportunity to listen to and challenge leading thinkers in mobile learning at what promises to be a lively and indeed timely debate, as 2010 is expected to be the year mobile learning using smart phones finally takes off.

"It's very exciting to bring together these four international experts in mobile learning to debate what I believe is one of the hottest learning topics of the moment. If the last debate at the Oxford Union is anything to go by, it will be an enjoyable, controversial, insightful, and thoroughly worthwhile experience." Dr Naomi Norman, Epic's Director of Learning.

Entry to the debate is completely free, but please note that places are limited so we urge you to arrive early to get a seat - register online to avoid the queues.

Afterwards, the debate will continue online at www.elearningdebate.com.

Epic will once again be exhibiting on stand 54, please pop by and see us.
