Epic shortlisted for 2 e-learning awards

We are delighted to announce that Epic's been shortlisted for 2 E-Learning Awards 2009:
- Best use of mobile e-learning, for 'Operation Numerika' a numeracy skills course delivered on Nintendo DS
- Best e-learning project securing widespread adoption for 'Protecting Information' developed in conjunction with the Cabinet Office and National School for Government
Alec Keith, Epic's Marketing Director, enthuses: "This is a fantastic endorsement of the depth and quality of the work we're producing. Both entries have a great chance of winning, for very different reasons. Operation Numerika is truly unique in that no one else is delivering e-learning on Nintendo DS, whereas the take-up and cost savings resulting from Protecting Information are truly staggering. It's had over 230,000 users across 300 government departments and agencies, which is eight times higher than any previous government e-learning programme. Our colleagues at the Cabinet Office reckon it's saved 20 million pounds compared with individual departments arranging their own training. I genuinely think that both entries are excellent."
The next stage is for us and our clients to present our case to a panel of judges, based on clear award criteria for each category. Winners are announced at the E-Learning Awards dinner in November.
