What does a Senior Designer do?
I work with the client to agree a design approach and learning model, and with our art directors and developers to decide the look, feel and functionality. I also review scripts written by our designers, coaching and mentoring them along the way.
Biggest challenge?
Being continually creative, but it gets easier with practice. If I’m struggling for creativity, there’s no point trying to push it. I work on something more technical for a while and before long, the creativity comes back!
Best thing about Epic?
Life is never dull. You learn so much. I love working on blended solutions, as you feel part of the bigger picture. It’s not just about creating e-learning, it’s about how the e-learning sits with face to face sessions, on the job training, mentoring and so on.
